No Time Better Than the Present, I Suppose!!!







Ah! I made it to my one-year anniversary in the Seattle metro area. It has been an interesting year full of many curveballs, to say the least. But the important thing is that I made it work, despite the challenges that I encountered. And the failures and disappointments really helped me to learn more about what my needs, strengths, and weaknesses are. I plan to keep pushing myself in 2019. I have set big goals for myself in the new year, and I know I can accomplish them. #NewYear #NewGoals #NowIsTheTime #2019

Not All Fortune Cookies Are Treats

I decided to eat at a Chinese restaurant for dinner last night. Luckily, I managed to convince them to let me order a "lunch special" dish. So, I was feeling like I was ahead of the game, so to speak, while I was leisurely eating my meal and checking my phone. Then, I opened up my fortune cookie. When did fortune cookies become so serious and grim? I remember more playful fortunes when I was a young boy. But this fortune does ring true. I am not quite sure how I feel about this one. :-/
