Fall in the City that Never Sleeps!!!





I have been back in the NYC metro area for 6 whole months now; and I am really glad that I made the difficult decision to move back. Being around my family and friends has truly given me a new perspective on what I need to accomplish for the next chapter of my life. And it definitely does not hurt that there is always something fun to see and do in the city. ;-)

Not All Fortune Cookies Are Treats

I decided to eat at a Chinese restaurant for dinner last night. Luckily, I managed to convince them to let me order a "lunch special" dish. So, I was feeling like I was ahead of the game, so to speak, while I was leisurely eating my meal and checking my phone. Then, I opened up my fortune cookie. When did fortune cookies become so serious and grim? I remember more playful fortunes when I was a young boy. But this fortune does ring true. I am not quite sure how I feel about this one. :-/

Art as Therapy!!!!!!!!!

I was pretty busy this week in general. I had a lot on my mind and a lot to do. But I still made time for my weekly art class; and it really pays off to devote time to what refuels you. I feel like I accomplished everything that I set out to do in the past week. Here is to resilience!
